Kahua’s Bid Management app enables users to create multiple bid solicitations per project. These solicitations can hold all bid related information and documents including bid form, drawings, pre-bid RFIs, miscellaneous questions, etc. Bids can then be sent to vendors for them to acknowledge if they are going to bid or not and then provide their bid on the users bid form along with provide any other documents or answers to bid questions. Bidders can ask questions with the Q&A function and users can respond or delegate, then return to the bidder. Bids can then be compared, leveled in Kahua and routed through an approval workflow before award, if necessary. Finally, awarded bids can be processed into a contract or purchase order to carry over the bid information and maintain the connection between bid and procurement.
